Gosch Restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand

Great to go now, the pandemic makes it possible. Tasted good, prices as usual and the staff tried hard.

Very good location and very friendly staff. Food is good and quickly prepared

Not every Gosch is equally good, but it is one of the good guys. Corona naturally makes everything a bit more "complicated" but still well organized. Staff always friendly but also consistently against "mask refusers". Food super fresh and well made, lots of outdoor spaces with radiant heaters and parasols. So a lot of space at a distance. Always a recommendation.

Gosch halt ;-) very attentive attention was paid to the implementation of the hygiene rules: exemplary! Food good and tasty, as usual!

Extremely crowded, but the lady at the entrance was super nice and friendly the whole time. Despite the stress and some customers who did not follow the rules, the gentlemen behind the counter always kept their calm. Food was good as always.

The food was OK, I thought it was a little too greasy. There were no cushions on the chairs outside, so it was really cold. The employees (as is often the case with Gosch) are often unmotivated. There are of course a few positive exceptions. There are better places to eat in the area.

It was an ok. I didn't like the plastic herbs and the staff was a bit grumpy (well, only the one at the door) but the food (fried fish with fries for € 7.50) was ok. Suitable for a snack in between.

Absolutely great price / performance ratio, delicious dishes, great location, nice staff and clean toilets and that on the holiday. We recommend.

Only the food was good as always. Beach chairs closed. Chairs cold and without cushions. Tables dirty and were roughly wiped on request but not disinfected. No way to disinfect hands outside. There are nicer and cozier places.

Highly frequented as always. But no problem with the well thought-out Corona hygiene concept. Really implemented! The food - just Gosh - delicious! The point deduction is unfortunately given to the staff in the front cooking department. You do your job so well, why are you so grumpy and unfriendly? Have a look over to the drinks counter - the lady can do it :-)

Gosch, as always, well attended. The dishes all looked delicious. But why you have to give your dates when you want to drink a vino outside. That would shorten the long wait. Long queues are not wanted.

Unfortunately there was no crab soup yesterday ?, but there was Thai noodles with crayfish (also very tasty!). In the weather there weren't any more seats outside, but inside it was all the more empty ? Otherwise everything was great as always. Fast food preparation, nice staff and everything neat & clean. What more do you want?

Always very well attended. Lots of tables and beach chairs to sit on. Food very tasty. All dishes also very well packaged to take away.

We were eating at gosh for the first time and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised! I thought you pay a few extra bills for the name, but none! Price performance ratio and service very good! One star deduction because I don't really like this self-service concept but that's a matter of taste!

It's a little hectic

Excellent food, fresh and good quality, great location

Is quasi the Vapiano regarding fish in the north: concept of a canteen, i.e. the guests choose and order centrally at the counter including payment. You get a buzzer which starts to whir as soon as the food is prepared and you can pick it up. Gosch has very good food, the classics are fried fish with fried potatoes or with potato salad. The ambience is nice, invites you to linger!

There is self-service here. We had dinner there on 2 days. The fjord salmon plate was a pleasure with both fried potatoes and the baked potato / quark. The fish was juicy, fried to the point, and extremely tasty. The portions are sufficient. The price / performance ratio is right for both the food and the drinks on offer. A visit to this restaurant is recommended.

Unfriendly staff

Gosch is cult. People run into the booth of Gosch, although the prices for a self-service restaurant are quite demanding. The quality is good but not outstanding. But Gosch has a unique image, people feel good when they have eaten at Gosch and thus show off some of it.

Very nice service, super delicious dishes. Fresh fish in all variations. What more do you want when you are on the coast. ?

Pretty good fish sammies. Crab sammie is strongly overpriced tough.

Came for the crab fried in garlic (who wouldn't?), but sadly they were out of it, so we ordered the crab soup and some fried prawns and scallops. The food came quickly and was delicious. The soup was extremely creamy, which took away from the crabby-ness of it, but was still good. A nice location close to the beach and park. Very good overall.

Offshoot of the Gosch in Sylt. Self service. Right on the promenade in Timmendorf. Since you can also order drinks in the pavilion directly in front of the actual restaurant, you can calmly search for a place and later choose your meal in the restaurant. If this is freshly prepared, you will be informed via beeper and you can pick it up. The food itself is freshly prepared, the portions are reasonable for the price. It tastes great!

The best fish food in Travelmünder

Typically Gosh, that double queuing I find a bit exhausting especially if the restaurant is well visited. The food was good and the portions were sufficient. The service staff was super nice and accommodating. I wonder how it works here when it is summer and the promenade is full of people.

Really enjoy this place! Excellent food, fresh and savoury. A bit expensive for what you get, but if you want seafood and fish, this is the place for it.

Fish was really tasty

Great fish experience at reasonable price. Only drawback, long lines to take an order, and another one to get drinks at the bar with reduced choices of wine by the glass

First time in this chain restaurant. Biggest problem was what to eat as it all looks fabulous. I had the pan fried fish platter which was cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable and atmosphere was laid back and cosy. Good selection of wine. The Graue Burgunder was so good I had a second glass :)
